Sweet Spinach Salad

TOOLS and EQUIPMENT:

Mixing Bowls

Knife

Cutting Board

Whisk

Measuring Spoons

YIELD:  4-5 Servings

INGREDIENTS

6 oz. package of Baby Spinach

2 Oranges, peeled, cut into quarters and then sliced into ¼-inch pieces

Dressing:

    3 Tbsp. Orange Juice

    2 Tbsp. Honey

    2 Tbsp. Canola, safflower, or grapeseed oil

    1 tsp. Dijon Mustard

    Salt and Pepper to taste

 

DIRECTIONS

Place the spinach and orange slices in a mixing bowl. 

In a smaller bowl, combine all the ingredients for the dressing and whisk together.

Pour the dressing over the spinach and oranges and toss gently. 

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
